From February 26 to March 16, 242 people from all over the world listened remotely to the course of lectures of profile universities - participants of the ERASMUS + MINERAL grant program "Modernization of geological education in Russian and Vietnamese universities".
In addition to the Ural State Mining University, they included the curator of the project - Freiberg Mining Academy (Germany), Turin University (Italy), South-Russian State Polytechnic University named after M.I. Platova, National Research Technological University "MISIS", North Caucasus Mining and Metallurgical Institute, Leoben Mining University (Austria), University of Science and Technology under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, Hanoi Mining and Geological University (Vietnam).
In the future, the consortium of universities plans to launch a joint international master program on common standards of participating countries, which will include general, specialized, practical and research modules. Training will be conducted in English using remote technologies.
More than 30 students from the Mining University participated in the Winter school. The awarding of the students of the school took place during the thematic methodical discussion "Experience, problems and perspectives of the development of e-learning in the international educational space", organized in the framework of the Urals mining decade.
Certificates of an international standard were handed to them personally by the professor of the Freiberg Mining Academy Karsten Drebenstedt. He stressed that distance technologies open up new opportunities in the educational sphere and make the learning process more accessible.
