The end of March marked the traditional event for the Polytechnic University - the Open Door, which always causes great interest. A huge number of boys, girls and their parents, interested in the benefits of training in the NIP, gathered under the arches of the first university in southern Russia.
As Yevgeny Bessarabov, director of the Central Admission Committee of the South Russian State Polytechnical University (NPI), told, on the Open Day, future applicants came not only from the whole Rostov region, but from many nearby regions, such as the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, the Voronezh Region, and also Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics.
“Visiting such events is very important both for parents and for the students themselves,” said Yevgeny Nikolayevich. “Here they can get important information that will later successfully reflect on their student studies.” Also today, our guests will be able to learn a lot of new and interesting things about the university itself and about the opportunities provided by training at the NIP.
The main part of the event was held in the Covered Yard of the South Russian State Polytechnical University (NPI), where a dozen stands from each faculty led, including the Novocherkassk Polytechnic College, the Military Institute and the stand of the Multidisciplinary Engineering Olympiad Zvezda. Anyone could get any information of interest regarding the particularities of studying at a particular faculty and communicate with the deans representing them and the staff of the university. NPI guests were always ready to help and answer questions from friendly volunteers from among the students of the university.
